Sequest developed firmware for portable Value Checker SmartCard readers in 6805 assembler. Effort involved working from customer requirement and ANSI specifications with no supervision.

Implemented features and support for new SmartCard designs and communications formats.  Developed small, fast algorithms for low-level functions.  Implemented T1 Card communications protocol stack (OSI HDLC/LAPB variant).  Designed hardware prototyping platform for future development needs
